In this video, you’ll learn how to redeem memberships in ROLLER POS, including how to manage both related and separate redemptions in a single transaction.
If your venue offers a membership program, it’s best practice to ask the guest if they’re a member at the beginning of the sale. If they are, select Redeem Membership above the cart panel, search by name or membership ID, then select the member from the results and redeem the membership. This is the fastest way to apply their benefits at the start of the sale. ROLLER automatically applies eligible membership discounts once the member is added.
If you need to view a member’s details outside of a sale, select the search icon in the left menu, go to the Members tab, then search for and select the member.
When a parent signs up their children for memberships, ROLLER automatically links them together. Redeeming the parent’s membership allows you to add related members to the same booking. To do this, select Redeem Another Membership above the cart panel. If related memberships are available, they’ll appear underneath. Select the plus icon to add each related member, then select Redeem Memberships to complete the step. Related memberships make it faster and easier to serve families.
If a group of guests each have their own membership but aren’t linked, you can still redeem them together in one sale. Again, select Redeem Membership above the cart panel, search for and select each member you want to include, then select Redeem Memberships to apply benefits for all of them.
Finally, check the cart panel to confirm that discounts have been applied. If you don’t see a discount, it may be because the member has already used their benefits or the item isn’t eligible.
