Learn how to find a booking & redeem tickets at POS
In this video, you’ll learn how to check guests in at POS, including how to redeem tickets, print passes, and add extra items during check-in.
When a guest arrives with a pre-purchased ticket, you’ll first need to find their booking. From POS, select the search icon in the left menu and enter the booking ID, guest name, email, or phone number. You can also scan the QR code from their confirmation email to automatically fill in the booking ID. Confirm that the booking holder’s name matches the guest, then select the correct booking from the list.
Once the booking is open, review the key details in the summary panel on the left. Here you’ll see the booking holder’s name, any flags, and the purchased items. For group bookings, multiple tickets may appear, each linked to a different guest. Before redeeming tickets, check for any add-ons already purchased — such as jump socks, food, or merchandise — and hand these over or mark them as fulfilled. If the guest hasn’t purchased add-ons, you can offer to add them now.
To redeem tickets one by one, go to the details panel and select the tick icon next to each ticket. A green tick confirms the ticket has been redeemed. To redeem all tickets at once, use the select all checkbox and then select the blue tick icon at the top. If a ticket requires a waiver, a pen icon will appear beside it. Select this to open the waiver assignment modal, search for the guest, and attach the waiver. Depending on your setup, tickets may automatically check in once a valid waiver is assigned.
If your venue prints physical tickets or wristbands, you can do so directly from the booking screen. To print a single ticket or wristband, select the print icon next to it in the details panel. To print all tickets, select the checkbox to highlight them all, then choose the blueprint icon at the top. You can print itemized tickets, which show individual guest or session details, or a master ticket, which provides one summary for the entire booking.
During check-in, you can also add extra items to the booking, whether that’s another guest, an additional session, or an add-on. Simply select “Add Items” in the summary panel, choose the item, and then select “Pay Total” to finalize the transaction. Once payment is complete, you’ll return to the booking screen.
You’ve just learned how to check guests in — from finding the booking and redeeming tickets to printing passes and adding extra items. You’re now ready to check in guests with confidence and give them a smooth start to their experience.
