Add memberships to your online checkout and feature them to boost visibility and sales.

In this video, you'll learn how to sell memberships online. You'll add a membership to your Progressive Checkout, then feature it on the homepage with a call to action or a featured product carousel so guests see it first. Let's start by adding a recurring membership product to the online checkout. From Venue Manager, select apps, progressive checkouts, all checkouts.

Select the options menu, three dots, next to the checkout you want to update and select edit.

Then go to the products tab.

You can add a membership product to an existing section, but we recommend creating a dedicated section for memberships. This makes them easier for guests to find and purchase.

Select add section and give it a clear title like memberships. Under select products, choose specific products. Search for and select your membership products. Drag the products to set your preferred order and then select apply. Drag the new membership section near the top of the product list and then select save.

This ensures your membership appears clearly in the online checkout. Select view checkout, then select products to see the result.

Next, let's make your membership products stand out on the home page.

Think of your checkout like a store. The products page is the aisle. It's the full catalog for guests who want to browse and compare. The homepage is the window. It's where you feature what matters most. You've added memberships to the products page. Now we'll spotlight them on the homepage with a call to action or a featured product carousel.

Select the basics tab and open the homepage, then select add widget. On the homepage, you have three layout options. Product carousel shows up to eight products and looks best with four or eight, but it's less prominent.

Call to action works best when you're promoting one primary membership.

Featured product carousel showcases up to three memberships with larger cards and supporting text, which is great for showing membership levels like basic, premium, and deluxe.

Let's start with a call to action. Select the call to action and enter a headline, description, and button text. Select button link, search for your membership product, and select it. Next, select upload file to add an image. Adjust colors and select apply.

Drag the widget near the top of the homepage so it's more prominent and select save. Select view checkout to see the change. Next, we'll set up a featured product carousel.

On the home page, select add widget and choose featured product carousel. Enter a carousel title and description. Under select products, choose up to three membership products. For example, basic, premium, and deluxe. Drag the products to set your preferred order and then select apply.

Drag the carousel near the top of the homepage and select save. Select view checkout to see the result.
