Use the membership status log and booking details to resolve disputes and review account changes.

Transcript

In this video, you'll learn how to review a member's history using the membership status log and booking details. These help you resolve disputes and check account changes with confidence.

The membership status log is your go to tool for understanding a member's entire life cycle. It gives you a clear factual history of every change to their membership. In Venue Manager, select reports and then select all reports.

Search for membership and select membership status log.

Set a date range and apply any relevant filters. Then enter a guest's name and select apply filters to review that member's full history of status changes. Think of the report as the member's passport. Each status change is a new stamp showing their journey with your venue. It's the best place to confidently answer questions like, when did this member cancel? Or was their upgrade processed?

If a guest is disputing a payment or you need to check specific transaction details, you can go directly to the booking from here. Select the booking ID in the report, then select go to booking.

This booking screen provides a lot of detail, so let's focus on three key areas. First, the items tab. Use this to check the membership's current status and select the options menu, three dots, if you want to cancel or reactivate a membership.

Next, the activity tab. Use this to investigate payments and edits, such as a failed charge or a status change. Finally, the payments tab. Use this to update the card on file when billing fails. These three areas will help you resolve most membership issues.

You've now learned how to use the membership status log and booking details to see a member's history. This gives you the context to resolve disputes and answer guest questions with confidence.
