Once your loyalty rules are active enroller, any guest who makes a purchase at POS, through the online checkout, or via a booking created in Venue Manager and consents to offers and loyalty updates by email will automatically receive a loyalty invitation email.
The loyalty invitation is also included in a panel in the order confirmation email.
Let's walk through how to invite a guest at POS.
Imagine a guest is at the front desk ready to make a purchase.
You've built the cart, and you're ready to assign a booking holder. At the top of the cart, select add booking holder. Search for the guest by name, email, or phone. If they're already in Roller, select their guest record.
If not, add their details to create a new record. When you assign the booking holder, the mailing list checkbox is selected by default. This is your opportunity.
Ask the guest if they'd like to join the loyalty program, earn points on qualifying purchases, and unlock rewards. Let them know you'll need their permission to add them to the mailing list for loyalty emails, rewards, and other offers. If they agree, leave the mailing list checkbox selected, then complete the payment.
Roller automatically sends the loyalty invitation to their email address. Let the guest know to expect an invitation email.
They'll need to select accept and join to complete their enrollment. Until they do that, they're invited but not yet enrolled.
If payment is complete and the guest wasn't added as the booking holder, you can still catch the enrollment opportunity from the booking complete screen.
Ask if the guest would like to join the loyalty program and receive loyalty emails, rewards, and other offers by email.
After they agree, select add guest details.
Search for or enter their details, including their email address. The mailing list checkbox is already selected. Just leave it and select add.
Roller subscribes the guest to the mailing list and sends the loyalty invitation straight away. This catches the enrollment opportunity before the guest walks away.
After the guest accepts and agrees to join the loyalty program, Roller creates their online account if they don't already have one and redirects them to sign in. From here, they can view their points balance, rewards, and redeem them.
Guests can also accept and join from the loyalty invitation panel in their order confirmation email. Once enrolled, they then receive a welcome email, encouraging them to plan their next visit and start earning.
Guests who book online can join your loyalty program directly with no staff involvement needed. Guests who subscribe to the mailing list during checkout receive a loyalty invitation email after completing their purchase online.
After payment, guests also have the option to enroll directly from the booking confirmation page. A loyalty program section appears with a join loyalty button. When the guest selects it, they're enrolled straight away and an online account is automatically created for them. From their online account, they can view their points, rewards, and progress, and redeem rewards when they check out online.
Guests can also enroll in loyalty by creating an online account. When a guest signs up for an online account using their email address, they're automatically enrolled in loyalty.
You can also drive self enrollment outside POS and online checkout by sharing your online account's login page link. To get the link, go to venue manager, then apps, progressive checkouts, all checkouts.
Select your checkout.
Then in the top right corner, select share, and copy the link under login page.
Place it behind a QR code at your venue, at the entrance, the front desk, or in party rooms, or include it in marketing emails and post visit communications to your subscribers.
When a guest uses the link to create an online account, they're automatically enrolled in loyalty. No staff involvement needed.
Guests earn points and progress toward milestones when their bookings are redeemed at POS.
If a booking isn't redeemed, it expires, and points and milestone progress are still awarded at that point.
